As a wider Campaign for Vic Health called This Girl Can, our short, piece to camera video focused on the barriers women face when going to the gym and getting involved in organised sports.
With a unique format, using real quotes from Victorian women about their experiences, we gathered 8 personal trainers, gym owners and fitness providers to read aloud each quote and respond.
What we captured was a very heartfelt and emotional response to these issues, that strick a chord with audiences not only in Victoria but around the country too.
The film was screened to an audience of 300 fitness providers on launch, and in its first week it reached tens of thousands of viewers and had a high level of engagement across all of Vic Health's social media channels.
