Peak Oil Company is a project to explore meaning and integrity in founder Leigh Blackall's relationship with the Australian outdoors, through the technology and equipment he uses to be in it. It's about material, process, art, design, wilderness and presence.
This brand film tries to capture the essence of that ethos on screen, and comes away with an essential portrait of old-school craftsmanship meshed with modern ideologies.
Filmed on location in Victoria's Mount Dandenong.
